A new level of aesthetics
The public libraries in Dubai are run by Dubai Public Libraries. Their first library was established in 1963 and today they have eight public libraries in different places around the Emirate of Dubai. Seven of them offer special children departments. The latest branch, at Al Mankhool Street, is an impressive piece of work.
The design of the Al Mankhool public library offers the latest fashion in functionality and style. The premises have several divisions, designed to meet the specific needs of the visitors. There is the VIP area, a colourful children’s department, a multi-purpose hall with a lot of research resources, and, last but not least, there is a relaxing lounge area.
The library is furnished with Opal Shelving System.
