Dokk1 in Aarhus, Denmark now open

One of the largest and most modern libraries in northern Europe

On Saturday 20^th June, 2015, we were, as the main supplier of shelving and display furniture, invited to the Grand Opening of Dokk1, with attendence of Queen Margrethe. Dokk1 is a cultural centre, housing not only a modern library, but also a citizen’s service centre, café, study rooms, play areas, auditoriums, 10.000 m2 of space for rent and the most advanced automated car park in Europe.

The library has high focus on digital media, but the traditional media, such as books, audio books, newspapers, magazines, movies, music and games are of course also prioritized with focus on a clear and logical structure, making it easy to navigate around the 17.500 m2 library and citizen’s service centre.
