The new regional library in Montpellier is one of a kind in several ways
It only takes a glimpse to see that the architecture is beyond the ordinary. The building is the shape of a horizontal tree and is designed by award-winning architect Zaha Hadid. The library is also one of two county libraries in France open to the public. Normally, the county libraries only serve other libraries in the county.
