Campus library in the heart of Brussels
In a trendy and lively neighbourhood in Brussels, close to the canal, the Erasmus Hogeschool established its new campus Kanal. The transparent character is striking: a glass facade around the building involves student life in the neighborhood and vice versa. On the ground floor, the library is one of the eye-catchers in the interior. The black library shelving fits perfectly into the sleek, contemporary architecture of exposed concrete and wood and gives all the attention to the contents.
