Library branch in Beveren

A part of the church in Kallo, near the port of Antwerp, have been transformed into a library branch for the municipality of Beveren.

The rooms are tastefully furnished while respecting the building: the arches have been preserved, and the distinctive, abundant light from the large stained-glass windows typical of a church, is maintained through glass walls that separate the library from the church activities.

The design has been adapted to the original architecture in terms of colour and materials and offers the visitor a modern library in a contemporary design.
