Comfortable library with character
With a view of the Coloma Park in the backyard, Sint-Pieters-Leeuw Library is a great place to relax. The library is spread over three floors in the listed country house with a new contemporary annex and reading terrace that allow visitors to enjoy a large collection in many resting and reading areas.
Located in the renovated De Viron country house, which also houses various leisure facilities, the library has become an attractive place with a distinct character. On the ground floor, there is an area with magazines, a reading corner and a toy selection. Next to the entrance, visitors will come across a fablab with a 3D printer. The youth section is located in the basement, and the "quiet zone” for adults is on the second floor.
Schulz Benelux has taken care of the interior design and the selection of shelving systems, tables, seating and custom-made furniture.
