Nicely decorated library for music and dance
The library covers the fields of music and dance and is located close to the center of Stavanger. The library is part of the faculty of Performing Arts and consists of a large collection of LP’s and CD’s focusing on jazz, classical and folk music. The library provides a range of streaming services and music for the students.
After several months of intensive renovation work, the library reopened in November 2020 in modern and open spaces, adapted to an active and flexible study environment. There is a particular emphasis on social zones, group workspaces and special rooms. BS Eurobib in Norway has been responsible for supplying the shelving systems, which in 2022 were supplemented with even more furniture and shelves with tiltable magazine racks with space for storing magazines.
