A Library that’s "out of this world"

Originally opened in 1969, the same year as the moon landing, Newport Pagnell library is the heart of the community. Thedesignconcept designed a library that is easily accessible and self-sufficient as the library is not always staffed. The Children’s space is easily identified, and noticeable to passers- by, due to the huge wall mural featuring a rocket and planets. A ‘Reading Rocket’ also features and is a huge hit with the children that visit.

Our Ratio Shelving has been installed. All freestanding bays on castors for ease of movement to create a space for library events.
The feedback received from staff and users has been fantastic and we hope the new design encourages even more people to the library.
