The new library is located in a fully renovated, bright and welcoming area within a cultural centre. It offers a dynamic and open environment where visitors feel instantly at home. With modern furniture and a carefully considered arrangement of shelving systems, the space ensures a seamless flow of movement throughout its spacious, light-filled interior.

Distinct zones have been clearly defined for adults, young people, games, audiovisual materials and knowledge, enabling smooth navigation. Low shelving systems maintain a clear and cohesive view of the entire space, enhancing accessibility and openness.

Librarian Ariane Rwantambara shares her enthusiasm: “Accessibility has been a key focus. The contemporary design creates an inviting atmosphere, further enriched by soothing colours and natural materials. Visitors have responded very positively, praising the library’s modern design, its clarity and the inviting layout that encourages exploration and relaxation. It’s a truly modern library, designed as a “third place” – a space where everyone can feel at home and where each visitor’s unique needs and desires are taken into account.”
