In 2026, our Swedish company, Lammhults Biblioteksdesign AB, celebrates 90 years as a specialist in library interior and design. Since its beginnings in Sweden in 1936, the company has evolved from a local supplier of library materials into an international organisation delivering projects across Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia.

For nine decades, the focus has remained the same: creating welcoming, functional, and future-proof libraries where people, knowledge, and community come together. From award winning public libraries and cultural centres to school libraries and learning environments, Lammhults Biblioteksdesign AB has worked closely with architects, librarians, and municipalities to develop inspiring spaces for learning, reading and social interaction.
